About
Agency-grade SEO, without the agency.
I'm Maiko. I have spent over six years in SEO and more than five of those leading teams inside agencies, most of it on Australian accounts. That means I have seen the same problems across a lot of industries, and I have a fairly unsentimental view of which actions actually move a business and which ones just fill a report.

Why this matters to you
I know what to do when the budget is small.
Five years of running agency accounts across a lot of industries teaches you something specific: which handful of actions actually move a business, and which ones only exist to justify a retainer.
Most trade businesses are not going to spend agency money, and they should not have to. The useful skill is not knowing a hundred tactics. It is knowing which three to do first when there is no budget for the other ninety-seven.
For a tradie that usually means the Google Business Profile before the website, one properly built service page before ten thin ones, and a review process that runs itself before anything is spent on content. Cheap, unglamorous, and it is what moves the phone.
It also means I will tell you where to start, and what can wait until the first results are paying for the next step.
How I help
The strategy is mine. Execution is your call.
You get a clear roadmap of what to do, what to skip, and a content and link building plan built around your suburbs and services. I will execute any of it myself if that makes things easier for you.
- Technical SEO. Audits, migrations, crawl and indexation issues, site architecture, schema, and the order to fix them in.
- The content plan. What to write and why, built around search intent rather than a word count. I will write it myself if that is easier for you.
- The link building and PR plan. Which publications and angles are realistic, and how to prioritise the outreach. I will run it myself if you want it handled for you.
- Coordinating the team around SEO. CMS publishing, web development, link building and content all need to work off the same plan. Most SEO fails at the handover between those, not in the strategy.
How I work
The terms, plainly.
- You deal with me. The person you speak to first is the person doing the work.
- Month to month. You stay because the work is paying for itself.
- A small client list. A limited number of clients at a time, and never two direct competitors in the same area.
- Concise and Easy to Understand Reporting. Short updates on what happened and what is next, not a stack of jargon.
Safe by default
Real reviews, earned links, and pages built for the suburbs you actually work in. Everything stays inside Google's guidelines, which keeps your Google Business Profile safe. That profile is usually the biggest source of work you own, so it is worth protecting.
